I didn't know that batteries could learn. The ones in my short,
hand-held Scrabble Express game have started to beat me.
Me ! The 3-letter word champion of the bathroom ! Thank goodness
batteries run out of juice and die, else they would learn enough
to take over all my stuff !

Carol , what games do you use (maybe I've hear of them ). I have
a few downloaded. Mostly though, I play free stuff - "on-line/
browser-based." Most game sites have 'free-to-play' games. Just
go on line, go to their http( or is it 'htpp') and click on a picture
and one can save the universe ( or move pieces around )( or smelt ).
One doesn't have access to the 'higher' functions of the games,
but I don't do straight or fast, anyway.

Right now I cannot get on the web. I would 'reset' the modem, but
I cannot get on my knees, either. I fall down ( yes, even from my
knees ). And the modem is on the floor, under the stand, out of
the way.
Sometimes I do recognize how dependent on screens ( the web )
I am for bad news. The world fiscal crisis. How many billions I
owe - or Fletcher & Ivy owe - and Cassy & Lolly or Jack and Luke.
Long after we're gone, they'll still be slaves. But, maybe, happy
slaves ( like Dad was )... singing and workin' ... and contributin'...
and writin' and readin' ... I'm such a bummer !!!

Thank you for the Easter card. It's super-great !!!
And it got me to wondering :
Which came first, the cute little bunny or the egg or the cross
guy ? or the mouthful of hard-boiled yolk or the whistle ???
or the church of England ????

2009-04-12 - sun - & Easter
I get to be the neighborhood J.C. this year ! There's not much
to it. Not much to do, 'cept hang on the power pole at the end
of the block ( in shorts - that's the worst part - it's still
raining from the last time I wrote you ) and look up.
It's only for two weeks and I get all the apple-cider vinegar
I want...AND I get to lose weight. AND ... when I come down, I
get to eat all the eggs I find ( even the ones at the Capital ).
Sometimes I wish the globe would warm faster and across
the middle of the U.S. would turn to desert faster and water
shortages would hurry up and get here. We're in the perfect
spot, just 30 years to go. Oh, well.....
At least it's not still Wauconda - which was 60 years too soon.
Being too too soon can be tedious. That's why I invented
'The Tedious Formula.' T = MC2. It may look familiar, but
it's not.
( I tell myself that it's all gonna happen just like I thought -
the 'come crashing down' thing - I'm just too far ahead of me. )
We're to have an Easter-family-food thing today, so I have to
be ready and look normal. I figure that at half a day ( I use
my airport time-thing from years ago - "Either I'm an half-hour
early or one hour late." It works for everything for me. )
( hereafter I will call it "THE AIRPORT TIME-THING FROM
YEARS AGO" or "TATTFYA" or just ATT or AT or A or
maybe "Q," for some reason ).
Seth will not be here at the Easter-family-food thing. He is
piping in Smokey Point ( which is N. of Sea. ), so he and a
couple of other crew members scored a room at the Smokey
Point Motel ( which they share ) and he uses Sun. to return
to the job site.
